Our mailserver was off the air on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 August. It was working again at 4pm Tuesday for almost everyone, with the last few users back in action at midday Wednesday.
Monitoring shows that it’s been good since then. Still, if you’re still having trouble with it, please contact us.
We apologise to all for the inconvenience. We understand how serious a problem it is when you can’t get email, and fixing the server quickly was our absolute priority. This fault turned out to be much worse than expected – two failures at once, which is unusual. We will soon be replacing some of the hardware that did not fail, in an attempt to prevent this happening again.
